About this course
Most people learn networking from a textbook and then can't work out why a scan comes back empty or why an attack just won't land. Here you learn it from the attacker's side: every concept comes with a real exercise in your own lab.
You don't need to memorise all of TCP/IP. We take only the part that actually helps while you're scanning, reading traffic or sitting in the middle of a man-in-the-middle attack.
What you'll learn
- TCP/IP layer by layer — only the parts that matter mid-attack
- Traffic analysis with Wireshark and tcpdump, so you can see what's on the wire
- ARP spoofing and man-in-the-middle attacks in your own lab
- DNS, DHCP and NAT, and exactly where each one breaks
- Firewalls, proxies and VPNs from the point of view of someone getting past them
- Wireless: WPA2, sniffing and the common Wi-Fi attacks
- Subnetting and routing, just enough to pivot

Prerequisites
- Basic computer skills and a Linux install (Kali is perfect).
- No prior networking knowledge needed — we start from zero.
- The patience to open Wireshark and stare at real packets.

No. Every concept comes with a hands-on exercise; you see networking, you don't just read about it.
Before or after the ethical-hacking course?
Either works. If your networking is weak, take this first or alongside it — the material is complementary.
